You’ll help our team set up a fun, welcoming market where we share food with anyone who needs it. This opportunity takes you right to the heart of our mission, helping end hunger. We will meet at the distribution site where Second Harvest staff and volunteers will distribute boxes of food compiled from 8-15 various items brought from the 2H warehouse. There may be 1-4 items that will require bagging on-site. This will be a drive-thru distribution. Requirements: This volunteer opportunity is held outside rain or shine please dress in layers or warm clothes. Closed toed, sturdy shoes are required. Volunteers must be at least 18 years old or accompanied by an adult. Events require physicality due to length of time standing.
